Global Corporate Controllers (GCC) team is currently looking to hire a Vice President to be based in Hong Kong.

You will :
Be a key member of the Hong Kong Legal Entity Controllers team, manage compliance with regulatory reporting requirements of key regulators
Partnering with the business units as well as other support functions to contribute towards delivery of the location's strategic goals, including delivery of new products / business initiatives
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and process guideline to ensure accurate regulatory reporting to all internal and external stakeholders
Act as change agent to lead or participate in finance related transformations to policies, processes or systems, including local implementation of changes in accounting policies or regulatory reports
Evaluate and streamline processes and control frameworks to ensure efficiency and compliance with internal governance standards, controls and policies and external regulatory requirements
Liaise and maintain ongoing relationships with regulators in collaboration with Compliance department as well as with external auditors
Participate in various regional / global initiatives
Team Profile : Global Corporate Controllers (GCC) is responsible for overseeing the accounting, financial and regulatory reporting for the Firm.
Finance prepares external reports for public and regulatory filings and internal reporting for financial oversight and analysis.

You have :
A minimum of 10 years of accounting, finance and tax experience with a demonstrated background having worked in a notable financial or professional services firm
Strong knowledge in Basel, HKMA and SFC rules
Strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to communicate clearly, present convincingly and influence outcomes across diversified businesses and functions, with strong collaboration skills across regions
Relevant tertiary qualifications and CA or CPA qualified
Big 4 external audit experience preferred but not essential
