Job Description : Your background
At least 2-5 years of Banking or Financial Institution working experience in Finance, Technology or Risk Support.
Graduate with a computer science or Math background but flexible with other qualifications if candidate has a strong programming background.
Python / VBA programming is essential for this role. Experience in Data Science and Data Visualization is a plus.
Advanced quantitative / problem solving skills
Project management experience is a plus.
Independent and motivated, team player, ability to deal with wide scope of demands under pressure.
Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions
Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward

What you can expect
The APAC QSAssociate works as part of a broader team on delivery of quantitative projects. Will work under the guidance of a senior team member;
However expectation is that person would be self-started who can work under minimal supervision. The role requires leveraging strong quantitative and programming skills to build deep knowledge of the banks pricing & risk libraries and infrastructure.
Automation projects are assigned as opportunities arise.
What you will do

Work on automation projects for regional and global teams.
Responsible to plan, organize and design & suggest a workflow with the appropriate technology tools and techniques.
Work with stakeholders, business partners, team members to understand the problem statement and propose appropriate solutions.
Actively participate in all aspects of the development life cycle - identify, design, develop, test and maintain solutions of the business processes.
Communicate effectively with all levels of management, across business units.
