Team Head, Relationship Management

Private Banking Department - Private Banking and Trust Services

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Team Head, Relationship Management

Principal responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the team members to perform their duties in compliant with the guidelines, policies, and governing rules and regulations.
  • Serve the high net worth (HNW) customers with assets to maximize profit of the Bank and to expand the market share of HASE Private Banking
  • Manage sales performance to achieve individual, team and department targets
  • Develop and coach the relationship managers under direct supervision to ensure their competency in respect of sales compliance and providing suitable investment advice and products to clients.
  • Provide guidance to team members on credit quality of customer loan portfolios; assess the exposure and financial viability diligently when making recommendation on loan structure and pricing
  • Ensure high level of efficiency and accuracy of whole team in daily operations by maintaining Group / Bank’s internal control standard, implementing and observing Group / Bank’s compliance policies and maintaining the awareness of operational risk to minimize the risk exposure of private bank
  • Requirements

  • University Degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications such as CFP or CFA
  • Passes in the HKSI licensing examinations
  • Minimum 10 years' banking experience with exposure in leading team
  • Good knowledge of investment products
  • Strong sales orientation and ability to work under pressure
  • Good communication, interpersonal, analytical and relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in both written English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua and other dialects an advantage
  • High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
