Role or Job Responsibilities :
The purpose of the role is to manage the Accounts Payable and Financial Management Functions of the Hong Kong office, to ensure that we pay vendors on time and we comply with all the statutory and regulatory requirements
Reports to the Senior Finance Manager, North Asia
Client group consists of Hong Kong office staff, EMEA Finance Team and external vendors.
Based in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities
Supervise the Financial Control Team on daily AP and GL functions
Responsible to review AP vouchers and process for vendors payment and staff reimbursements
Prepare and reconcile petty cash account and staff loan schedule
Review bank reconciliations and month end schedules
Prepare monthly cashflow forecast for submission to London headquarter
Assist in preparation of intercompany recs, monthly management accounts and analysis reports
Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecast, year end audit and tax submissions
Assist in ad hoc reports when required
Provide cover for other team members in their absence
Skills and Experience Required
5 years solid AP / full set working experience in sizable company, with at least 1 year management / supervision experience
Working experience with relevant experience in finance, preferably from a legal or professional service or finance service sector
Qualified with HKICPA or equivalent
Proficiency in MS office
Knowledge of SAP and Chrome River will be an advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong proficiency in English and Chinese
Multitasking and ability to prioritize
Ability to work independently and on a team
Should be flexible in working overtime as and when required
