Job Description :
Our client are an international multi-faceted organisation who own and lease a mixed-use real estate portfolio. Currently urgently seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong critical services background, based in Hong Kong.
This is an exciting opportunity, running a large in-house team.
The Role :
Responsible for technical management of multiple sites and projects / building services as well as working alongside the Facilities management operational team.
Responsible for all built environment matters with regards to engineering, as well as some small minor renovations. This person would be responsible for work order planning and ensuring all health and safety matters are of the highest priority.
Daily operations as well as design reviews.
Handling a variety of systems, such as MVAC, Fire protection, plumbing & Draining, Electrical Power supply, crac units.
Responsible for technical team in terms of recruitment, training and performance management
Handling department budget and expenses
Ad hoc projects
Engineering degree holder or city and guilds- Mechanical and Electrical engineering or Building services
Minimum 10-12 years relevant experience
Previous experience in MEP and Building Services is a must, not only FM management. One must have managed critical services- hospitals, malls or data centres.
Must have experience managing large team
Ability to manage a crisis and recommend an emergency plan
Excellent communication in oral, written English and Cantonese
The candidate must already have work experience in Hong Kong and understand local building ordinance regulations.
