Develop messages and draft content for a variety of channels including executive comms, press releases, social media, and marketing campaigns
Work with internal stakeholders to gather, interpret and craft media / PR stories and successfully pitch and gain media coverage
Develop and execute clearly defined branding, PR / communications and sponsorship programs for key growth areas and initiatives
Lead, develop and produce multi-media content to build and promote company’s branding for social media, and publications, with measurement and evaluation
Provide strategic advice and counsel to stakeholders on media and sponsorship opportunities
Engage with the media directly on behalf of the company
Perform issue and crisis management and handle customer complaints referred by media or addressed to the management
Develop and manage award pitching to align and support the company’s strategic priorities
Manage events and activities in support of business stakeholders
Minimum 8 years of experience in external relations, corporate communications, public relations, marketing management and / or journalism
Sensitivity to social and political dynamics, with strong’ PR experience gained either in agency or in a fast-moving proactive in-house press office
Understanding and working experience of media, both traditional and social
Experienced in integrated communications planning and execution including social and digital as appropriate
Existing and established network of media contacts with the ability to build and maintain new relationships
Thrives working in a fast-paced environment with an ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines simultaneously
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
