Job Purpose (Job Summary) :
The candidate is an experienced marketing manager who will work closely with various internal / external groups (sales, product, marketing technology and compliance, creative agency) to position Invesco as a preferred asset manager and thought-leader through thoughtful implementation of institutional marketing activities regionally and globally.
The role should develop and maintain an expert knowledge of client groups within the Institutional market including sovereign wealth funds, insurance, pensions, endowments, family offices and the distribution opportunities within it.
Key Responsibilities / Duties :
Initiate, own and deliver high-quality marketing communication and thought leadership campaigns aligned with key business initiatives.
Propose and execute strategic implementation of marketing activities in the institutional marketplace, including MPF, with an awareness of the evolving market structure and dynamics,
regulatory and political factors, competitor landscape and associated client needs / requirements.
Plan and implement effective marketing activities and provide necessary support (above-the-line, below-the-line, online, events, digital marketing & campaigns) for institutional business.
Provide strong digital marketing ideas to coordinate with stakeholders including marketing technology
Develop, build and utilize strong agency relationships and digital marketing skills and techniques, to maximize content distribution and reporting.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal business partners across marketing, product, sales, compliance and client relations.
Work Experience / Knowledge :
6-8 years work experience in regional marketing role at asset management industry, institutional and China experience a plus.
Proven marketing campaign management experience, including but not limited to above-the-line, below-the-line, online, events and media relations.
Knowledge of investment products required. Understanding of China investment products / vehicles a plus.
Strong digital marketing experience including SEO, SEM and analytics. Experience in CRM and marketing automation to effectively drive business.
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required :
Understands integrated marketing- prepare marketing plans, agency briefs, using data to drive strategy, etc.
Demonstrated experience with digital marketing techniques and application
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin).
Innate curiosity and passion for marketing
Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as to handle multiple concurrent assignments, work independently, and assume personal responsibility for deliverables
Ability to effectively manage new projects, existing maintenance, shifting priorities, and multiple tasks
Ability to adhere to deadlines and pay close attention to details while managing multiple projects
Self-directed and well organized; able to work with minimal supervision
Highly proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel. Knowledge of CRM system (e.g. Salesforce) useful
Formal Education : (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
Bachelor’s degree required
