WPB Chief Operating Office - WPB Business Financial Crime and Regulatory Risk

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as WPB Client Selection and Exit Management (CSEM) Manager

Principal Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end CSEM process to protect the bank from financial crime risk and reputational risk
  • Collaborate and maintain good working relationship with internal stakeholders to ensure all the deliverables are achieved smoothly within scheduled timelines and provide quality assurance upon implementation
  • Provide accurate and timely updates regularly to Senior Management and Reputation Risk and Client Selection Committee (RRCSC) members
  • Support Senior WPB CSEM Manager to execute the WPB CSEM activities at pace and with minimum conflict; and analyse stakeholder goals and effectively manage their expectations, addressing any misalignment.
  • Ensure tasks / initiatives adhere to both internal and external regulatory requirements, Local and Group policies and standards and minimise general risk to the Group.
  • Requirements

  • University degree in a related discipline with around 5 to 10 years of relevant working experience
  • Proven record of effective management in project planning, decision making, and identifying priorities.
  • Sufficient business understanding of WPB objectives and operating model as well as Group policies and standards.
  • Execute and deliver project tasks within budgets, time scales and of high quality of output
  • Able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines and be change oriented.
  • Able to work and resolve issues independently
  • Attentiveness to details
  • Ability to build connections and work collaboratively within RBWM and across line of businesses.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese
