Commencing in September 2022
Applicants should have :
A recognized university degree and relevant professional teaching qualifications as required by the EDB;
Five years of solid experience teaching English in a primary school setting. (Experience in communicative language teaching or a story-based curriculum will be an advantage.);
An average proficiency Level of 4 or above for the English Language Proficiency Requirement and any other requirements for the English Panel Chair post set out by the EDB;
Undertaken relevant training course(s) specified by the EDB or other equivalent training course(s) acceptable to the prevailing Code of Aid for Aided Schools.

As the chief organizer for the teaching of English in the school, the English Panel Chair, in collaboration with other teachers of the panel, needs to make a careful diagnosis of the English language needs and interests of the student and of its general English strengths and weaknesses.
