Nokia Technologies Licensing team is divided into Sales and Commercial Management teams. The Licensing Sales team leads patent licensing negotiations and has an oversight of Technology licensing sales, while the Licensing Commercial Management team coordinates all patent licensing programs and ensures consistency of valuation and position on licensing related legal and regulatory topics.

Specialist, Licensing

We are now looking for a Specialist in Licensing to join our Licensing teams, where the position will be based in Hong Kong.

This role requires strong team working skills, legal knowledge and ability to manage a large number of independent projects simultaneously.

The role offers unique visibility to a world-class patent licensing organization and hands on experience of licensing negotiations.

Your responsibilities in this role are :

  • Planning, implementing and developing the program administration for a patent licensing programs
  • Support in patent licensing negotiations
  • Contract drafting and negotiation
  • Support of day to day interaction with potential licensees
  • In order to succeed in this role, we expect you to have :

  • Master’s degree in a suitable field, preferably legal
  • Previous experience in IP / licensing business or keen interest in it will be beneficial
  • Willingness to travel
  • Strong and proven business acumen, willingness to achieve as part of a team
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organization and coordination skills
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially with use of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Interest in learning and developing yourself in a very complex and demanding business situations
  • Positive and joyful work companion with a social attitude
  • Strong team working skills
