We are waiting for you to provide leadership and guidance to ensure the profit center(s)’ profitability and growth in accordance with the CLASQUIN group policy.
Principle Accountabilities :
Increase gross profit by actively pursuing new business compatible with the overall scope of the Clasquin group service lines
Ensure the ongoing development and maintenance of main customer relationships
Work closely with the operational and sales managers of the responsible entities to ensure the business unit is working at optimum capacity and efficiency
Take care of the recruitment, training and development of operational managers, salespeople and team members
Track and provide management with reporting on key issues
Negotiate with suppliers (airlines and co-loaders)
Improve existing processes and implement new ones
Responsible for the financial process for the responsible entities, including submission of the annual budget, historic comparisons, variance reporting (actual vs budget)
Effectively monitor costs via systems currently used, and / or work with appropriate staff to establish new systems of measurement
Routinely analyze receivables to ensure they are within acceptable limits
Job Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree holder or above in logistics, transportation or related disciplines
Minimum 10 years’ experience in logistics and transportation industry, of which 3 years in managerial level
Fluent in Mandarin and English
Self-starter, able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, with a keen eye for details
Strong quantitative and analytical thinking skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong focus on human resources management and business development in line with group policy
