Principal responsibilities

  • Provide in region oversight and holistic management of digital service delivery and operation, mainly for the Hong Kong market but may also require to support other ASP markets when required.
  • Connect specialists in all related disciplines and experts in Hong Kong and ASP markets to conduct diagnosis and solve cross teams challenges and issues, in particular those specific to markets.
  • Advise on local and regional trends and practices which are the essential elements to land the global systems to markets.
  • Ensuring adherence to governance procedures and significant contribution to process improvement.
  • Considering risk implications in all decisions and activities through a good understanding of business activity, opportunities and threats.
  • Ensure that problems are managed at peer level, and escalated efficiently with the minimum disruption to the business.
  • Adopt and share standards, tools, best practices, principles for cost, quality and productivity improvement.
  • Maintain good exposure and develop knowledge in new techniques, products, services, technologies and standards.
  • Requirements

  • In depth experience of Internet, Mobile and Digital Experience delivery with a working knowledge of agile methodologies.
  • Strong IT Leadership, managing matrix project teams both regionally and globally, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team or on an individual basis.
  • Knowledge with domestic trends on the banking product of Cards, or Loans, or Deposit Accounts including Integrated Accounts, and the technology being used in the context of Digital Origination journeys.
  • Experience in API enabled Digital customer journeys.
  • Basic understanding on the business processes, operating models in the above banking products.
  • Usage of tools such as Confluence, Jira, Sonar, Quality Cente.
  • DevOps processes and experience.
  • Understanding of lean and agile methods of software delivery and the principles and practices.
  • Agile methodologies
  • Vendor management experience is definitely an advantage.
  • Great communication, convey your thoughts, ideas and opinions clearly and concisely face to face or virtually to all levels up and down stream.
  • Availability to undertake the travel required for this role as required.
