About the Role / Client
Our client is a progressive and expanding international law firm and it is seeking a well-connected employment lawyer for a partnership role in Hong Kong.
The firm has a well-known pedigree in employment law in other international offices and it is seeking a senior employment lawyer from the local market to spearhead the development of this practice in Hong Kong.
This is a fantastic chance for either an established employment partner (or team) or a senior lawyer with a following who may be seeking their first step into a partnership role, to move to a firm that has a genuine desire to succeed in this practice area and that can provide all of the tools and support necessary for success.
Ideally candidates will have experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
A robust and demonstrable following is required (or at the very least a track record of building and maintaining client relationships in this practice area).
Candidates will likely be locally trained and / or will have practiced in Hong Kong for some time and will have plenty contacts and experience in the jurisdiction.
Ideally, candidates should be capable of communicating effectively in Mandarin and Cantonese, but this is not a prerequisite.
