This role is part of Edelman’s regional marketing team, which builds and maintains the Edelman brand and drives growth for the agency across the APAC region.
In this capacity, the Marketing Manager will partner with 12 markets across the region to help guide their marketing efforts.
These include PR and content marketing; events and partnerships, awards and case study compilation, as well as digital and social marketing.
Marketing (PR, Content, Awards & Partnerships) :
Develop press releases to communicate our agency news, including new appointments, business wins, Trust study and other IP launches, award wins, work profiles and more
Craft thought-leadership pieces that profile our people, practices and integrated solutions, and our POV
Maintain relationships with the editorial teams of trade titles (including PRovoke, Campaign, PR Week, Marketing, Tech in Asia, etc.
and non-trade titles (such as Bloomberg, Insider, The Strait Times, SCMP, etc.)
Liaise with markets to actively surface their best work for development into case studies and award submissions; create case-study writeups for the website and newsletter distribution
Help our markets with the planning and event management aspects of their Trust launches, including speaker selection and
Contribute to the development of a marketing calendar, ensuring we have a consistent and regular presence throughout the year
Manage the relationship with internal and external content creators designers, coders, film production, photography, creative directors, tech developers etc.
Social Media :
Manage our social media efforts (including an APAC Twitter handle, local-market Facebook pages, and global LinkedIn and Instagram profiles) ensuring our marketing efforts are amplified through suitable content on relevant channels.
This involves gathering content from across the region and composing posts that are in line with our marketing objectives and tailored to each channel
Leverage paid tactics to target and reach strategic audiences (i.e. prospects and existing clients); conduct digital marketing campaigns that deliver reach and engagement for our marketing initiatives
Partner with the HR and talent teams to leverage our social profiles for recruitment and employee engagement initiatives
Manage a consistent Edelman tone of voice across all channels
Lead our website management efforts in APAC, liaising with both the global marketing team and local markets to ensure our website remains updated with fresh and relevant content in line with our marketing initiatives
Produce and upload content (including posts on our latest news, thought leadership and case studies) on a regular basis to ensure the website remains an up-to-date channel containing all of our activity
Liaise with local APAC markets on the launch of their websites and serve as a point-of-contact for any website-related requests
Liaise with the global marketing team on a regular basis for website updates, enhancements and trainings; ensure we continue to deploy best practices in APAC, including paid search, SEO, integrations, mobile optimisation and the gathering of measurement & analytics
