HR & Administrative Officer
Hong Kong


Kennedys HR team support the firm around the world with all people related matters.

The HR team is based in Chelmsford and London for the UK, Dublin for EMEA, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia for APAC, Basking Ridge for US and London / LATAM for LATAM.

The areas of HR that we have responsibility for are Business Partnering, Recruitment (including partners and early careers), Reward, HR Systems and Analytics, Learning and Development, Corporate Social Responsibility and Diversity and Inclusion.

The HR function is also responsible for the Secretarial function in the UK, Singapore and Thailand.

HR tasks

  • Assist in recruitment process, including job advertisement posting, interview arrangement, staff record, onboard preparation and orientation.
  • Maintain and update staff records in HRIS.
  • Participate in ad hoc HR projects as assigned.
  • General Administrative tasks

  • Assist in organizing company events and staff activities.
  • Arrange In-house CPD arrangement (applying for CPD with Law Society and catering) and setting up of the meeting room.
  • Keep CPD records for fee earners.
  • Assist with paperless project.
  • Assist with maintaining ISO documentation.
  • Support the Office Manager in maintaining, procuring, purchasing and replacing equipment.
  • To keep records of archive files, arrange for file destruction.
  • Others

  • Provide support to the team when other team members are on leave.
  • Handle ad hoc duties as required.
  • Might need to come in over the weekend to oversee works done in the office.
  • Required experience

  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or other related disciplines.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Well-organized and able to handle multi tasks simultaneously.
  • Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English, Chinese & Mandarin.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Excel.
