Senior Manager, Communications and Public Relations

Reporting to the Head of Group Communications and Public Relations, you will be responsible for leading and managing integrated marketing campaigns for retail banking products, services and / or channels for optimal quality and impact, overseeing planning and execution of digital acquisition strategies, where applicable, to ensure meeting of KPIs, promoting and optimising the Group’s brand image and reputation, providing communications support / guidance for Group subsidiaries as necessary, managing and ensuring responsible and effective use of allocated resources and budgets, and managing and coaching direct reports

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product teams to plan, develop, organise and drive effective and quality marketing communications campaigns for RBD’s products, services and channels, including helping to formulate and articulate campaign positioning and key messages, and leveraging the full breadth of marketing communications mix, including but not limited to ATL and BTL promotions, PR promotions, digital / social media marketing, POP displays, events and sponsorships & etc.
  • Manage agencies and external parties on creative development, media placement and production for branding and marketing campaigns
  • Work closely with digital marketing lead and performance marketing agencies on planning and execution of digital acquisition strategies to ensure KPIs are met
  • Maximise and manage media exposure for the Group, and to maintain close media relationships (reporters and sales) to optimise media placements / negotiations
  • Promote and optimise the Group’s brand image, including compliance with the Group’s corporate ID guidelines
  • Support implementation of Group corporate events and activities as necessary
  • Provide CPR support to other Group subsidiaries as necessary
  • Manage, track and ensure responsible and effective use of allocated resources and budgets for all assigned marketing communications initiatives
  • Manage and coach direct reports
  • To meet the challenge, you should have the following qualifications and attributes

  • Degree or above with major in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications and related disciplines
  • Minimum years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, advertising and / or PR
  • Digital marketing knowledge and experience
  • Solid knowledge of retail banking products and services
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical and planning skills
  • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and work under pressure to meet tight schedule
  • Strong team player and good people skills for managing multiple stakeholders and for motivating and guiding team members
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese
