Regional Business Line Director - Aviation
Job description
Egis Group are currently entering an exciting period of growth. With new shareholders in the organisation, we have an strong growth plan within the Asia Pacific Region.
As such, we are hiring a Business Line Director for our Aviation business. You will be coming from a engineering consulting firm, preferably with a background in airport engineering and construction.
We would love to speak with managers within this space, who are excited by the challenge of stepping up to grow a business, with support from our group level and regional APAC management.

You will be based in Hong Kong or one of the key countries of the region, and work closely with the Domain BU CEO / Domain BU team and the APAC CEO / regional team.
Participate in the strategic plan for the Aviation and Aerospace Domain BU in the APAC region together with Domain BU and APAC CEO.
Support the development and growth of the business in line with Egis Aviation businesses models in regions such as the Middle-East and Europe.
Lead business development in the region to build up and expand client network, market awareness of Egis brand and capabilities, identify project opportunities, initiate project bids in compliance with Egis CRM process and requirements, work with the APAC CCO, SID, and tender unit team and the domain BU team during the entire tender process for targeted wins.
Collaborate with the regional HRD / Group HRDs to identify business development leader, project director / manager and key technical expertise to build up / expand local team.
Dual Report to APAC CEO and the Domain BU CEO in terms of business strategy, large bid / pursuits, cross-region client network and business opportunity and tenders as well as project execution.
Support the regional wide business activities and operations
Participate in the APAC leadership team as a one of the key leaders to develop / review strategic thinking and planning and execution progress, key business decisions.
Profile
Experience in the field of design, engineering and consultancy for airports.
Strong business acumen, has led successful local business or engineering division / team.
Take own initiatives without compromising adequate communications internally and externally to break through new markets, develop client trust and relationship and win projects with committed quality execution.
Experienced in managing P&L at any hierarchy within a business.
Comfortable and experienced to work in global matrix organization.
Excellent leadership skills to be responsible, take charge, offer clear direction and instruction, open-minded, efficient, be able to take pressure and accountabilities to make decision and solve challenging problems.
A proactive and efficient communicator in the matrix organization, be transparent, open minded, resilient, positive thinking and attitude, persistent to drive positive and quality end results.
A leader with solid result-driven personality to get things done on time with quality, follow up with details and accuracy.
A fast learner, willing to step out of own comfort zone to explore, collaborate, and action with business partners / stakeholders / customers.
