Our client is a global primary research platform connecting financial institutions, consulting firms, global enterprises, and high-net-worth individuals with subject matter experts across all industries and regions.

Their goal is to provide clients with the necessary tools to gain the right insights for their research objectives. To achieve this, they conduct expert interviews, industry research, business consulting, marketing surveys, and in-person / remote conferences.

In this role, you will work with the Account Management / Sales team to identify, qualify, and build meaningful relationships with clients around the world.

The Account Management team is responsible for identifying the company's users within new and existing accounts, as well as growing the relationship alongside their research team.

This person will join a growing team that works with some of the largest investment management firms and consultancies in the world, helping to discover the company's client’s business initiatives and acting as the company advocate.

In this role, you will gain direct exposure to client outreach, relationship management and strong communication skills with significant career progression opportunities at our fast growing firm.

Job Responsabilities

  • Demonstrate our client’s value proposition across their entire universe of research services
  • Grow and track existing accounts to identify additional opportunities such as new users and up-selling opportunities
  • Lead generation; Connect with prospects through strong written and verbal communication
  • Gain commitment for an initial visit or initial call with a Senior Sales Associate
  • Assist Sales Team with user acquisition and prospecting strategies
  • Who You Are :

  • Familiar with selling directly or indirectly in a competitive landscape
  • Experience with financial institutions, including but not limited to Hedge Funds, PE Firms, Asset Managers, and Consulting Firms
  • Excellent customer service skills. Efficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable ability to learn quickly and adapt to a growing, fast-paced working environment
  • Positive, motivated, goal-oriented attitudes and mentalities and can be successful both as an individual and as part of a team
  • Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of sales, business development or client-servicing experience in financial industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top university (preferred marketing or finance background).
  • Broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management.
  • Excellent communicator capable of handling high-profile clients (Hedge Funds, Mutual Funds, Private Equity and Corporates).
  • Fluency in English and Chinese in both written and oral business communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere
  • Initiative and ability to handle increasing responsibility over time.
  • Eligible to work in Hong Kong
