Responsible for performing a variety of financial activities, including accounting and financial analysis to support the realization of AIA Group’s various critical strategic initiatives.
Effective and influential communicator with ability to manage stakeholders within multi disciplines and multiple countries, through wholistic discussions, bridging the gaps on issues and facilitating decision making.
Lead the finance, transactions and legal work streams on strategic projects. These projects require clear articulation, management and development of project plans, structure options, solution design, financial impacts analysis, business risks, project dependencies and ability to execute on key deliverables within tight timelines.
Lead the project management of Group finance and valuation workstreams on Corporate Transactions due diligence.
Act as an internal advisor in the design of transaction structure and funding options, calling out accounting and operational implications.
Manage external advisors’ scope, deliverables and fees.
Minimize project execution risks from scope creep through development of finance charters and align stakeholders in agreeing objectives, priorities, expectations and critical paths.
Holds others accountable and escalates as needed.
Provide guidance to business units and less experienced finance working level teams through experience sharing and suggesting programmatic / agile approaches to ways of working.
