The appointee will be responsible for implementing media relations and publicity programmes such as organising exhibitions, ceremonies, media events and press conferences, writing press releases and feature articles which aim at building a positive image of the University, and managing social media promotion and engagement projects.
A good honours degree in Journalism / Communications / Marketing or related disciplines, with at least 7 years’ post-qualification experience in media relations, events management and marketing communications.
Candidates should have proven track record in media relations, events management, branding and marketing, and social media applications.
Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese and English (including Putonghua), and the ability to work under tight schedules and perform diversified duties are expected.
Knowledge of higher education in Hong Kong and solid experience in handling branding / marketing projects for a sizeable corporation would be an advantage.
