Responsibilities

A minimum of 14 years of relevant experience focusing on the China market in a private markets investment role preferably at a top tier private equity buyout or secondary market firm.

Experience building and managing the operational aspects of a private markets business (including but not limited to : investments, deal flow / terms, due diligence, legal / compliance and infrastructure) is ideal.

Ability to recruit, mentor and develop a small team of experienced private equity investors.

Ability and track record of generating money making investment ideas within private markets.

Established industry relationships and network to gain access to deal flow.

Requirements

Strategic mindset and ability to be decisive in the face of ambiguity.

Strong interpersonal skills and experience in a collaborative, team-based, results-oriented environment.

Independence of thought, intellectual curiosity, and an entrepreneurial nature.

Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Strong academic credentials, MBA / CFA preferred.

Near native level Mandarin and English are essential
