As the Regional Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing the full spectrum of marketing activities covering brand awareness, demand generation, digital, social and channel marketing that are aligned to CommScope business and sales objectives for your assigned regions.

This role is based out of our Kwun Tong office.

You Will Make an Impact by

  • Takes the lead in the design, development and execution of integrated marketing plans and programs to build brand awareness, increase customer and prospect engagement, generate new business, and cross or up-sell pipeline
  • Work closely with Field Sales, Distribution / Channel Sales, System Engineering, Product Line Management, and other relevant stakeholders to project manage and implement marketing programs that are aligned to the business objectives
  • Collaborate with Regional Comms & PR to jointly develop & implement agreed PR initiatives
  • Work closely with the Corporate Brand team to advocate and implement global brand strategy and guidelines
  • Be the voice for your area of responsibility and collaborate with the global and regional marketing teams and cross-functional teams on global programs and campaigns, ensuring relevant messaging and positioning are aligned to sub-regional business and sales objectives
  • Manage effective utilization of budgets and its ROI including marketing reports and analytics to understand the results against annual regional targets and goals.
  • Track, report and optimize marketing programs to drive the best possible business outcome

  • Collaborate with distribution / channel team, local distributors and partners to drive regional channel marketing programs through the local distribution, partners and key alliances, complementing the global / regional programs (such as CMP / MDF) already in place
  • Development and / or localization of sales enablement tools including presentations, collateral, local language websites, regional success stories etc.
  • Manage inventory for collateral and giveaways

  • Communicate relevant marketing initiatives, events, product announcements, sales enablement tools and resources, etc. to the local team
  • Responsible for lead and database management in-line with the specified best practices and processes
  • Responsibility for advancing best practices with the sales team : including lead disposition, lead tracking, contact management, sales insights, social marketing and selling etc.
  • Orchestrates internal and external resources necessary to launch marketing program
  • Participate in regional marketing planning and review calls and meetings
  • Adhere to consistent marketing processes and tool adoption

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business or Marketing
  • 5-6 years marketing experience, preferably business-to-business (B2B)
  • Experience with inbound marketing, content marketing, social media, telemarketing, event marketing, collateral development, etc.
  • Savvy in digital marketing (SEO, SEM), social media marketing and virtual events
  • Experience with project management, negotiation and strong decision-making skills
  • Ability to interact and build relationships with local sales leadership, cross functional teams and peers
  • Independent, self-starter, positive attitude, reliable and organized
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a regional, and globally matrixed environment. Regional experience in Northeast Asia (GCR, Japan and South Korea) is a big plus.
  • Demonstrate multi-tasking skills, creativity, and initiative
  • Experience with some marketing automation platforms such as Marketo and campaign and reporting on / Microsoft Dynamics
  • Occasional traveling is required
  • Some market / application knowledge in Networking and Infrastructure Connectivity an advantage
