Tutor Position Details :
Prior teaching experience is not required.
Full-time and part-time positions are available.
Instruction is performed at a Lindamood-Bell® Learning Centre. This is not a remote position.
Paid training in the programmes used by Lindamood-Bell is provided.
Following the training, your hours will be set according to your employment contract.
This position is paid according to the hourly rate included in the ad.
Paid time off - Paid holidays (statutory and 1 floating), Annual leave, Sick, and Closure Hours
All necessary technical equipment and programme materials will be provided.
Tutor Expectations :
Have a passion for helping others reach their potential.
Implement positive-reinforcement strategies that maximise learning, in a cheerful and authentic manner.
Possess excellent reading, spelling, and comprehension skills.
Possess basic computer skills and the ability to type notes about client performance while leading engaging sessions.
Bachelor's degree preferred. Associate’s degree, Early Childhood Education certificate, or actively pursuing a degree is acceptable.
Tutor Responsibilities :
Provide one-to-one and / or small group instruction, in-person or online, implementing specific plans under the direction of Learning Centre leadership.
Interact positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive learning environment.
Manage client records electronically using a computer.

Lindamood-Bell continues to safely provide services to clients in person. Lindamood-Bell follows local guidelines and infection control recommendations provided by the Centre for Health Protection and Department of Health.
This includes the use of health screenings, widely spaced work stations, physical distancing, enhanced cleaning protocols, face coverings, and promoting hand hygiene.
