We are seeking highly-motivated researchers for the following project : Development of A Robotic Rollator-Orthosis System for Mobility Augmentation and EldercareThis project is funded by the Midstream Research Programme for Universities (MRP) from the Innovation and Technology Commission, Hong Kong.
This project proposes an innovative solution to overcome the limitations of a conventional rollator or an active orthosis while maintaining the merits of both devices, therefore, helping the elderly individuals maintain the capability of moving around with their own lower limbs on the premise of safety and facilitate their health monitor and care in real time.
or a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in engineering with demonstrated experiences of mechanical design, motor control, or sensor development and signal processing (for Research Assistant).
The appointee(s) will work in direct collaboration with researchers from the rπLab (Robotics, Perception & AI Lab) in the Department of Electronic Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
