Overview of businessarea or project :

Public Policy andRegulatory Affairs is responsible for Global Regulatory Foresight andIntelligence and supporting the business with a BAU operating framework whereapplicable.

We work together to identify regulations impacting Credit Suisse,and ensure we’re making the right changes to maintain compliance in anefficient way.

As a GlobalRegulatory Specialist, you will complement the existing Regulatory Sourcingteam, which is responsible for identifying, analysing and addressing new rulesand regulations globally in order to facilitate timely compliance of CreditSuisse with new regulatory obligations.

Overview of thedepartment / team

The APAC team isbased in Singapore and Hong Kong. There are 2 members (VP & ENP) inSingapore and 1 member in Hong Kong (VP).

The team leader is based in Singaporeand reporting to the Global Lead of Regulatory Sourcing based in Zurich. Theteam has an open, collaborative attitude and everyone is a team player ready tosupport each other.

This role offers theopportunity to learn Credit Suisse’s business operations. The relationshipmanagement across all division, functions and regions will give an excellentexposure in business partner management.

  • Manage relationships across all divisions, functions and regions.
  • Maintain and document in-depth knowledge of Credit Suisse business operations and structures in all relevant jurisdictions.
  • Contribute to change projects which seek to improve the Regulatory Change Management process as well as improve overall provision of the function’s service.
  • Liaise with members of our global Regulatory Foresight & Intelligence department to increase collaboration and develop the Operating Model for Regulatory Change Management.
  • Challenges in thisrole :

  • Stakeholders may push back on taking ownership in RGS+ however the team has always found a way around this challenge.

    Essentials Skills andQualifications :

  • Experience in Regulatory Change Management at Credit Suisse
  • Phenomenal communication and presentation skills with an ability and confidence to discuss issues at senior level across geographies
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive can do’ attitude with the ability to tackle issues in an effective manner.
  • A self-starter, motivated for professional and personal development
  • Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking who can work on own initiative and can deliver on time under pressure with a high level of integrity and flexibility, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
  • Desired Skills andQualifications :

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ proven experience in the financial services industry, preferably in regulatory, legal & compliance or risk environment.
  • An interest in the changing global regulatory landscape.
