Computershare Governance Services (CGS)
Today’s company secretaries and corporate governance professionals are under mounting pressure to deal with increasing corporate compliance, governance and reporting requirements, and as a result they are looking for partners who can provide a full suite of governance services and technology solutions.
Our Governance Services business is a core part of our Issuer Services business line and we are growing our global team of Governance Services experts and client development specialists who will promote, account manage and deliver services to Computershare clients.
Our Computershare Hong Kong team is looking for a dynamic individual to develop CGS business from existing and new clients.
The right individual will work with CGS leadership to develop sales and client development strategies aligned with global CGS growth plans and targets.
The individual will be responsible for implementing the sales plan, managing the sales pipeline and delivering on sales targets across our range of CGS offerings, including Global Entity Management Services, US Registered Agent Services, Governance Advisory Services and Software Solutions.
This individual will also work closely the Computershare marketing team.
Core Job Responsibilities
Develop targeted sales strategies and plans which focus on the IPO market and multinational companies headquartered in the AsiaPac region.
Managing SalesForce tool to track and report on sales pipeline activity.
Managing the end to end sales process, liaising closely with clients and Computershare subject matter experts.
Build relationships with Computershare Client Managers across Issuer Services with a view to positioning client introductions and CGS services.
Identifying cross selling opportunities for other service lines within Computershare.
Gaining market and client insights which help further develop and expand our CGS offerings.
Leading and assisting with client events, webinars and other sales and marketing activities as required.
Essential Experience, Skills and Qualifications
6+ years of B2B sales experience as a top performer selling corporate related services to C-level executives.
Preferably experience working within a professional services environment and selling governance or entity management related services and solutions to the General Counsel and Corporate Secretaries of large Corporations.
Experience running a methodical sales process with experience of utilising CRM and sales enablement tools, ideally SalesForce
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
Resilient and composed under pressure, proactive, self-motivated, take ownership / responsibility for own work.
Unwavering commitment to personal performance, and a history of success exceeding annual sales targets.
Ability to think / act strategically and commercially whilst protecting the reputation of the company.
Ability to navigate large complex organisations and buyer / stakeholder groups.
Be a good team player. Work with IPO sales team and relationship managers to sell Governance Services solutions to new IPO clients and existing corporate clients.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all buyer personas (individual contributor to C-level).
Intellectual curiosity as someone who strives to understand everything about the market and the needs of our customers in order to provide a comprehensive solution.
Awareness of legal, regulatory and governance trends and developments and sound knowledge of compliance cycle of a corporation listed / incorporated in HK.
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
A Member of The HK Institute of Chartered Secretaries or other professional bodies such as HKICPA is an advantage.
Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese with fluent in Mandarin.
