Job Summary

Improve the operation efficiency by working with the team to ensure quality reporting and provide insights to management and group office, organize formal workshop or events for communication of Services & Operations strategy both internally or externally, provide Services & Operations project portfolio management to management team and centralized monitoring and review on vendor performance

Roles and Responsibilities

Communication and Project Management

  • Organize strategic workshops and critical communication events for internal and external parties
  • Oversees Service and Operation Project portfolio, co-ordinates with Business Units and provide periodic Management Updates in the perspective of Project Schedule, Quality, Cost and Risk
  • Facilitate continuous monitoring of projects after launch and evaluate the benefit realization achievement compared to the target and propose improvement plan to Business Units to achieve KPI
  • Review and align new project initiatives to company synergy
  • Solve application and process related problems by creating detail process and system design specifications; and works with other areas across the business units to support a total solution approach
  • Vendor Management

  • Continuously review performance management framework for all critical Services and Operation vendor services for management review
  • Propose improvement areas from reports or issue log to local IT, users, and vendors
  • Benchmark and review vendor services performance with market practices
  • Business Analytics

  • Identify and investigate deviations from KPI matrix and propose improvement plan to business units, vendor and IT and ensure successful execution
  • Provide quality reports and business insights to management team and group office
  • Promotion of BI tools to Business users so that users can have self-help data extraction or analysis and minimize IT data extraction requests
  • Take initiatives in Report Automation to minimize manual works
  • Job Requirements

  • University graduate in Business or IT discipline with 6 years’ experience
  • Experience in Insurance Services and Operations, Insurance Systems, CRM systems, EDW Systems and SDLC cycle
  • Strong leadership skill
  • Good communication and presentation skill
  • Language proficiency, with fluency in Mandarin and / or English is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of project management, process improvement methodologies will be and added advantage
  • Attentive to details, strong numeric sense and ability to resolve problems independently
