Conduct market research as part of evaluating a wide spectrum of new business development opportunities. Brainstorm with the local market leaders to develop business development strategies, including the preparation of full business plans (including but not limited to market / competitor analysis, financial analysis, product and service analysis, go to market strategies etc)
Develop detailed business proposals and research relevant intelligence to back up the proposal, estimate effort and resources required for pursuing the business opportunities.
Ensure business opportunities align with the organization-wide business goals and objectives (whether financial or non-financial)
Provide recommendations to senior management to drive decision making on business opportunities, and where applicable, provide recommendations and alternatives to business proposals
Calculate investment returns and conduct financial analysis including cash flow projections, revenue models and cost-impact analyses for potential projects
Coordinate cross-functional projects end-to-end from timeline / deliverable planning to tracking / reporting
Provide and / or recommend functional expertise to design the capabilities required by the new venture to succeed, e.g.
product development, sales and marketing, logistics, customer care, etc.
Bachelor’s degree or above from a reputable institution in business, finance, marketing, engineering or analytics, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in business analysis / business intelligence / consulting.
Strong experience with financial modelling and business analysis.
Exposure to or experience with marketing, branding or a related discipline is an asset.
Track record of owning, driving, and closing projects from inception to execution, to include valuation, diligence, deal engineering and leading negotiations.
Strong & rigorous analytical & problem solving skills, ability to research & dive deep to uncover the very fundamental drivers of a market change.
Ability to translate analytics into insights and recommendations.
Flawless presentation skills and the ability to lead strategic conversations that navigate the needs of HYPEBEAST and the potential business partners.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English; fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese and / or Korean a plus.
Ability to work with and manage uncertainty and changes, possess strong executive functioning and organization skills to drive towards clear and action-oriented insights and deliverables.
