Institutional Sales Representative, Business Development

The role of the Sales Business Development team is to develop New Business opportunities with global prospects. Our prospects include Investment Banks, Private Equity / Venture Capital firms, Wealth Management firms, traditional Money Managers, Hedge Funds and Corporations.

The goal of this role is to set up qualified meetings and provide meaningful background information for members of the outside sales teams to conduct demonstrations, trials, and eventually close business.

An ideal candidate has prior work experience in the Financial Markets, i.e., analyst or portfolio manager. This job offers a flexible work schedule with little required travel providing the ideal work / life balance.

The candidate must be adept at conversation while also having the knowledge and skillset to match prospects’ investment workflow needs with FactSet solutions.

They must be self-motivated.

  • Language Skill : Business Proficiency in Mandarin required

  • Experience using FactSet or one of its competitors
  • CFA designation or MBA
  • Language Skill, especially Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, German, Italian and / or Portuguese
