My client is one of the sizeable non-life insurers in Hong Kong, looking for a high-calibre candidate to support finance operation(i.
e. premium collection, credit control). The candidate MUST have the solid experience in insurance sector and preferably have good soft skills in managing good relationship with brokers.
What you will do :
Manage the daily insurance operation i.e. unallocated cash, overdue premium, bad debts
Chase overdue transactions and in the meantime drive communications and solutions with the team
Manage the bank and balance sheet items reconciliation, timely clearing of receivables, suspense account and unreconciled items
Prepare monthly ageing report and general monthly statement
Propose and assist in the documentation and implementation of procedures and system to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency
What you're expected to have :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
Qualified accountant is an asset but not a must
Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in receipt & payment / credit control function in insurance industry
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
