HSBC Wealth Management leads the Asia-Pacific implementation of our global strategy to deliver world-class solutions to retail and private clients seeking to grow, protect, preserve or transfer their wealth.

This involves the development and management of needs-based solutions covering foreign exchange, deposit, investment, insurance and financing products, as well as the provision of suitable market insights and updates, financial planning and advisory services.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Marketing Manager, Affluent Segment Premier .

Principal Responsibilities

  • Applying internal and external insights and data points to develop and execute Customer Marketing strategies to achieve the business and brand objectives
  • Ensure that the HSBC Premier proposition is promoted in a cohesive and consistent way that creates desire and aspiration to attract customers to work with HSBC to manage their wealth, while complying with Global Marketing guidelines and adhere to regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement customer centric, multi-channel marketing communication initiatives that drives the customer growth, revenue increase and brand affinity of Affluent segment, inclusive of local, NRC (non-residential Chinese) and international customers
  • Support Affluent customer proposition evolvement in line with customer changing needs and seamless integration into the wealth continuum.
  • Work with relevant global, regional and local stakeholders to align commercial objectives and performance measurements

  • Develop customer marketing strategy to support strategic initiatives of Asia Wealth and to support driving HSBC to become No.
  • 1 Wealth Management Provider in Asia

  • Promote HSBC Premier brand awareness and HSBC Premier wealth management solutions through paid, owned and earned media and establish partnerships to maximise brand exposure and nurture customer relationships via clients’ events and partnership activities
  • Responsible for marketing creative development and governance, including agency management. Ensure marketing communications to Affluent customers upholds the highest standards within the bank
  • Support innovation projects and embrace agile ways of working
  • Requirements

  • Commitment to putting the customer at the heart of all strategic thinking and implementation of activities
  • Extensive consumer marketing experience at management role, ideally with affluent market experience
  • Strong business acumen and willingness to learn banking industry’s knowledge and deep dive into wealth management solutions
  • Strong strategic and analytical capability, with hypothetical thinking and making sound judgment
  • Experienced team leader while being a strong team player, able to work in diverse culture across countries and across departments with strong stakeholder’s management skills and excellent relationship building skills
  • Experienced in project management driving for greater value through smart application of resource
  • Proven ability to be a self-starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment
  • Ability to think innovatively, shaping and communicating new concepts
  • Excellent language skills English, Chinese, Cantonese / Putonghua both spoken and written
