Deputy General Manager, APAC (Fine Wine)

Key responsibilities

  • To be an ambassador for the company, responsible for managing the business and operations for HK and SEA markets, assist in business development of Greater China markets.
  • Reporting to Managing Director for APAC, you have accountability on the full market P&L by managing sales team (Private Clients, On Trade, Wholesales), marketing and operations teams, in close cooperation with HQ.
  • Provide strategic leadership and execute the company strategies to achieve sales targets and company’s objectives.
  • Work closely with HQ on product strategies, portfolios management, inventory management and forecasting.
  • Implement the company’s code of conduct and processes.
  • Lead a team of experienced Sales, account management and support staff.
  • Role requirements

  • Degree holder in Business related disciplines.
  • At least 16+ years’ experiences in commercial functions with over 5 years in team management position. Fine Wine / Luxury Products industry preferred.
  • WSET Diploma Certificate desirable.
  • Strong interests and knowledge in Fine Wine.
  • Excellent business acumen, strategic thinking with global view of business.
  • Good market insights for Asia markets
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel with capacity of building dashboards, graphs, pivots, databases.
  • Good command in both English and Chinese
  • Candidates with experience in Luxury industry with a strong personal interest and / or WSET qualifications will also be considered.
