Initiate, plan, organize, lead and control Manufacturing Excellence projects to improve the productivity and profitability of the operations through elimination of waste of time, money, materials, man-
hours, machine time, energy and other resources that do not generate value.
Analyze data, reports and process to Identify improvement opportunities with quantifiable business benefits in terms of costs, efficiency, quality and productivity in manufacturing plants.
Develop Business Case Metrics, Scorecards, Methodologies and Tools to build and track Manufacturing Excellence progress
Drive and introduce new manufacturing concepts and production technologies.
Drive planning, leading and facilitating effective kaizen events.
Regular travel work in multiple production facilities in China and other countries in Asia.
Form 5 or above
Over 8 years of relevant experience gained from garment or textiles manufacturing industry, in which 3 years in the managerial level.
Well-experienced in new project implementation and management
Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes
Superior analytical (quantitative and qualitative), problem solving, interpersonal, organizational and negotiation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with ability to influence multiple levels of management and associates without direct control of resources.
Strong computer skills (Excel, VBA, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Visio)
Possession of strong Manufacturing Excellence Toolbox (Lean, Kaizen Event, Six Sigma, VSM, 5S, Standard Work, Continuous Flow, Line Balance, GSD, SPC, 5-
S, Project Management, 8D, PDCA, DMAIC, etc.)
