Role description :

This role provides a professional HR service in supporting the delivery of the people plan and interventions to help the business achieve its strategic objectives.

Role accountabilities :

  • Work closely with the TA GSSC to provide support for on the ground activities requires local language, face to face communication, e.
  • g. campus recruitment, etc.

  • Provide support to line manager community on HR queries etc.
  • Work with Centres of Excellence including Learning and Development, Recruitment, Compensation and Benefits and Payroll, to provide a wide range of HR Services to stakeholders
  • Work closely with the HR Shared Service Centre to ensure the business receives an efficient and high quality HR administation service
  • Support the maintenance of HR Policies and processes
  • Coach, counsel, and guide managers on HR policy queries
  • Provide support in grievance and disciplinary cases
  • Support change initiatives, including restructures, redundancies, redeployment and office closures
  • Qualifications & Experience :

  • A generalist HR background and a proven track record of delivering
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build solid working relationships
  • Good working knowledge of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and related regulations
  • Exposure to diverse and complex matrix businesses in an HR generalist role is an advantage
  • Experience of working within a HR Shared Services & Centres of Excellence model is an advantage
  • Capacity to understand how people issues impact the business and how HR can create value for the business
  • Demonstrates integrity in all business interactions and honours personal commitments
  • Strong organisation skills are important, as well as strong attention to detail, an ability to multi task and see work through to full implementation
  • Demonstrates a pro-active approach
  • Ability to adapt in a changing environment
  • Experience in Oracle, HR2 systems and processes is an advantage
  • University graduate preferably in Human Resources Management or equivalent
  • At least 3 years HR experience in similar roles
