The Security & Integrity Department is at the center of our core values in ensuring Integrity is preserved. Our work in Security, Integrity, Anti-Money Laundering, and Anti-Illegal Betting contributes to the Club’s management of financial crime and corruption risks.
We strive to maintain a secure environment to ensure the smooth operation of the Club’s business, and uphold honesty and fairness to help to protect horse racing in Hong Kong.
You will :
Provide budgetary, administrative and planning support to the strategic projects undertaken by Corporate Security; and organize / coordinate departmental events and manage the spending and projects implementation within the set budgets.
Manage procurement process of the capital expenditures and operation expenditures for Corporate Security, including the drafting of JSQ, EAP etc.
and following up with the related departments to ensure all the required services and / or items are procured timely.
Maintain effective working relationship with other internal stakeholders and managers of other departments during the security planning for race days and Club events to ensure (a) necessary information and event details are obtained, and (b) adequate support to the Security Operations.
Maintain effective working relationship with external parties such as law enforcement and contract security service providers to manage adequate manpower deployment for race days and special events.
Manage required manpower support from law enforcement, security guards, part time supervisors and / or in-house guards for routine security operations and special events.
Respond to incidents at the Club’s properties and, take appropriate actions and compile the necessary reports when carrying out other duties as assigned by SASM.
Plan and implement protective security measures to ensure the best possible protection of the Club assets at Racecourses including staff safety, property, equipment and cash.
Assist the security planning for Club’s major events at Conghua Racecourse (e.g. Exhibition Racing) and execute the planned measures and activities during the events, including the engagement of Conghua local security services providers, security systems contractors and local government departments (e.
g. Public Security Bureau, Construction Bureau etc.)
Assist in the planning and actual execution of security plans for any Club’s events, in Hong Kong or any other places outside Hong Kong, requiring security support (e.
g. Riding High, CEA events, ARC meetings etc.).
Supervise and identify the gap(s) for the team comprising of S5 / S6 staff and assist the SASM to formulate career development plan, if applicable.
Compiles management reports and documents as per the request from Director of Security & Integrity, Executive Manager, Dual Site Corporate Security (EMDSCS) and / or SASM.
Undertaking other duties assigned by EMDSCS and SASM.
You should have :
Post-Secondary education; university degree preferred but not a must.
Minimum of 7 years relevant experience of which at least 2 years at supervisory level in a commercial or equivalent security environment.
Familiar with local criminal law and is knowledgeable in crime prevention techniques and modern security technology
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Cantonese, (proficiency in Mandarin is a plus), reading and writing Chinese is essential.
Must be competent and literate with computers.
Good leadership, delegation, influencing and coaching skills to lead and build the team
Good analysing, organizing, planning, decision making and presentation skills
