Develop and carry out research activities associated with epidemiological research projects on African swine fever and avian influenza.
Main duties include preparing research and grant proposals, writing scientific papers and reports, managing research projects, training junior research staff, and performing any other assignments.
A PhD degree in Medical / Veterinary Epidemiology / Public Health or related disciplines with no more than 3 years of experience after the award of a PhD degree.
High proficiency in written and spoken English; demonstrated experience in scientific research; being highly motivated; ability to work independently and in a team are required.
Working experience in tertiary institutions or research institutes would be an advantage.
Candidates with a PhD degree plus at least 3 years’ relevant research experience after the award of a PhD degree may be considered for appointment as Research Associate.
