Job Responsibilities :
The successful candidate will be part of the New Products & Services team in Clearing Risk Management Department with focus on clearing risk for OTC products and business initiatives for the OTC Clearing Hong Kong Limited (OTC Clear) in Hong Kong.
This will be an exciting opportunity :
To formulate risk policy, conduct international benchmarking, prepare discussion materials, draft proposals and policy papers, update relevant rules and procedures as a result of new on-exchange OTC Clear products, business and risk management initiative.
To plan, coordinate and review project tasks including risk policy formulation, internal approval, user requirements drafting and liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders
To assist supervisors in project assignments and ensure timely implementation
To provide support to risk governance meetings and OTC risk working group
Job Requirements :
University Degree, preferably in Risk Management / Finance / Economics or related discipline
At least 2 years' relevant experience preferably in well-established financial organizations
Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with a strong sense of responsibility
Excellent communication, strong project management, presentation and organizational skills
Holder of or progress toward relevant professional qualification is an advantage, preferably FRM or CFA
Sound knowledge of financial market; experience in fixed income / currency market an advantage
Experience in market risk management in well-established financial organizations an advantage
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively across different businesses and functional areas
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
Self-motivated, attention to details and a good team player
Strong MS Word / Excel / Powerpoint / Outlook
