Identify application potentials of research outcome / intellectual properties (IP) of the University;
Work with researchers of the University on approach in Proof-of-Concept (PoC) projects to increase technology readiness level (TRL) for identified applications with real user validation;
Facilitate and seal work arrangements with beachheads and / or collaborators that will test / validate feedback on target applications to build proper specifications of prototype / minimum viable product (MVP);
Lead the co-ordination of technology development projects (including project milestones, contracts negotiation etc.) to deliver on elevated TRL of projects for showcase / demonstration of working MVP;
Guide preliminary considerations to understand competition landscape and construct a viable business on the business model converse; and
Facilitate spin-off for commercialization / follow-on funding for further technology development Proof-of-Value (PoV) (e.
g., next phase of project development, scale-up demonstration, alternative application fields, etc.).
A Bachelor’s degree preferably in Physical Science / Life Science / Digital Science / Engineering;
A minimum of 10 years’ project management experience in technology development with proven track record in leading a team to develop and deliver actual products;
Strong network and negotiation experience;
Good appreciation of technology trends, awareness of unmet needs and opportunities; and
Clear and concise oral and written communication skills are required.
Specialized skills in transforming research into technological products / services that can be commercialized is preferred.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Senior Technology Development Officer.

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract;
