Project Manager Description Our client in Hong Kong is currently looking for a Project Manager for a contractual basis. This is for the program of the company which sets to deliver process operating models and implement system automation globally across Sanctions, Anti Money Laundering, KYC, Payments and Fraud screening functions to ensure the company meets regulator and DPA commitments as well as deploys the highest and / or most effective FCR standards and across the globe. Responsibilities :
Manage change through assigned projects which are established to deliver a specific outcome, on time and on budget.
Manage change and implementation within the business to ensure the change lands well and sticks, contributing to benefits realization.
Develop the plan within constraints, considering the delivery approach, key milestones and dependencies within the plan, requirements and scope, effort and resources, budgets and quality.
Develop and / or reviews estimates and estimating assumptions for the project's schedule, effort, and cost.
Actively identify and manage critical risks / issues and ensures resolution within agreed timescales and implements mitigating plans.
Maintain project change control, ensuring any changes to baseline are managed through change request and all impacts are considered.
Promote and takes accountability for project quality; identify opportunities to improve delivery and oversees the governance process to reduce risk and ensure effective and timely decisions are taken.
Collaborate and build positive stakeholder and business partner relationships providing regular updates to resolve high priority issues affecting the project.
Obtain buy-in from the project sponsor, Steering Committee and other business partner stakeholders for all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, quality assurance plans, budget, schedule, and scope changes.
Working with or as a team leader to drive a performance management based culture to improve and drive efficiencies and delivery including the effective management of underperformers.
Experience / Qualifications :
Core Project Management Knowledge and Skills (PMP or PRINCE2 certification maintained for at least 2 cycles, or equivalent experience).
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Proven experience delivering complex, large scale projects or programs.
Experience managing senior stakeholders in a matrix, multi-cultural organization.
Experience in financial services (banking, capital markets or insurance) required.
