We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Business Analyst.
Understand business objectives and gather information from stakeholders
Producing specifications documents including workflow charts and diagrams
Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications
Recommend controls by identifying problems, writing improved procedures
Assist project management work on some of the sub work-streams
Work closely with project managers, product manager and business teams
Support system testing and drive problem diagnostics
Support and coordinate investigation of implementation and live system issues
A university graduate with degree in IT, finance or a related discipline
15 years of IT / finance related work experiences. 5 years+ in the BA role
Business and technical knowledge on banking system would be an advantage
Familiarity with the HSBC standards and processes would be useful
Able to work independently, under pressure and proactively
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Fluent in English as well as good command of Mandarin is required for this role
