Managing claims to provide first class professional claims services to our Corporate, SME and local clients. The job incumbent is also required to provide professional advice to clients throughout the claim process to demonstrate broker value.
Management of claims for clients, including some with operations on a multi-regional scale
All classes of commercial lines insurance, including but not limited to EC, PDBI, PAR, Motor, PPL, Marine Cargo, CAR
Servicing internal business units and clients at operational and management level requiring liaising and coordinating with insurers and third party services providers such as loss adjusters, rehabilitation managers and lawyers
Management of and analysis of claims data and advising clients on risk management improvement measures
Preparation of reports on a regular basis for internal claims operations
Development of junior claims staff
IIQE qualified or holder of ACII or ANZIIF (Associate) preferred
Minimum five years claims handling experience, in insurance broking firm preferred
Knowledge of or experience in Bancassurance, Marine Hull and Construction claims is preferable
Team work is essential whilst being proactive and working independently
Ability to understand and apply data analysis to risk management issues
Must be able to work with data and present information in clear manner
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
Good computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
