Applications are invited for appointment as in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy , to commence as soon as possible, on a two-
to three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in molecular pharmacology, biomedical science, or related disciplines. They should demonstrate a deep understanding and knowledge of vascular biology and / or ageing, with excellent track records in molecular research and animal experimental pathophysiology.
They should also be organized, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team. The appointee will work in a well-
established group, and is expected to perform high-impact research related to the pathogenesis of vascular ageing and function / regulation of the longevity regulator (SIRT1).
He / She will use various approaches to explore novel therapeutic targets with translational implications for cardiovascular diseases.
