Job Description

Alipay (Ant Group) is looking for an innovative, energetic, strategic and highly motivated Key Account Manager for Hong Kong and Macau market.

Candidates with Internet, Digital marketing or Payment Companies background should be looking to work in a fast paced and challenging team environment where the ability to work / interface with all areas of the business is essential.

Role will interact with Business Development, Marketing, Operation, and Product Teams in HK, MO and China.You will work as part of the Key Account Management team.

This team is focused on developing Alipay penetration with HK & MO merchants, thus maximising Alipay’s market share in the markets.

With your energy, motivation and ability to innovate and identify new opportunities, you will make a significant contribution to the growth in the market.

You will be in charge of a portfolio of key business accounts and ensure their retention and growth whilst building lasting relationships and developing an in-depth understanding of their business model and objectives.

You will position yourself as an expert of the Ant Group and Alibaba group solutions, deliver best-in-class service levels and negotiate mutually beneficial commercial and marketing agreements.

You will operate within a very dynamic and challenging team environment and will have to demonstrate your ability to interact with various internal and external stakeholders with their own goals.

You will report to the Key Account Director in HK & MO. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Management and development of a portfolio of Key Accounts.
  • Business development : Alipay’s market share increase with a deeper client relationship, the optimization of Alipay partnership and the launch of new business model with the Merchants, and efficient marketing campaigns.
  • Commercial negotiations including Annual Marketing Agreements and tactical joint promotions.
  • Cross-functional project management with various teams including BD, Legal, Operation, Marketing, and Product in order to define actionable and customized solutions to meet Merchant’s needs.
  • Reporting, analysis and enhancement of Alipay value proposition
  • Monitoring of marketing campaigns, seasonality, competition, and the portfolio's performance against targets.
  • Regular business reviews with Merchants.
  • Development of new business model.
  • Job requirements

  • At least 5+ years work experience, with a successful B2B sales / key account management experience
  • Genuine interest for Internet, digital-marketing and payments
  • Understanding of Alibaba and Ant Financials value proposition
  • Proven relationship management and negotiation skills, flexibility
  • Experience in leading cross-functional projects with various internal stakeholders, and with demanding external stakeholders (including Client's Top General, Commercial, Marketing and Finance Management)
  • Fluent Cantonese, Mandarin and English
  • University degree
