We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

  • To manage a team of Corporate Banking Managers to acquire, retain, and grow Large Corporate (LC) CMB customer relationships for HSBC adhering to the Group values, business strategy, operational policies, regulatory requirements and risk management practices to maximize the value of these relationships internationally by working closely with group offices and product partners.
  • To develop the team of Corporate Banking Managers to ensure delivery of the financial plan and the best in class customer experience.
  • To plan, direct and control the activities of the main branch and sub-branch(es) and assist other Business Groups in developing their business in Chongqing area to maximize overall contribution to the branch’s P&L.
  • Qualifications

    To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements :

  • Minimum of 6+ years’ experience in managing complex commercial relationships with international needs
  • Robust commercial lending, risk assessment, trade finance experience, in-depth knowledge of other banking products such as Capital Financing, Cash Pooling, Private Banking etc
  • Good level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory issues
  • Experience in structuring complex credit deals for clients and close engagement with Investment Banking and Global Markets partners
  • Ability to interact with business customers at top level
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent time management, planning and organization skills
  • Excellent range of communication skills, including written, verbal, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
  • Sound knowledge of compliance regulations and risk management and able to build good rapport with the government officials and regulators
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
