Job Responsibilities :

Responsible for trade lane business development by identifying and securing major target accounts

Handle route development for assigned trade lane

Plan and monitor annual budget for the year and report on progress

Support operations and account management for route specific issues

Identify and agree trade lane targets with overseas counterpart

Establish customer target list at national and branch level and monitor through the corresponding pipeline dashboard tool

Product development and implementation in conjunction with operations.

Collect and report market information regularly to senior management.

Create local awareness of trade lane, branding products, establish sales kits, presentations etc.

Support in the procurement of rates from overseas and act as guide consultant for tenders related to their associated trade lane

Job Requirements :

Degree qualification with 3-5 years’ relevant work experience within the industry

Background from global forwarder preferred

Good knowledge of specific trade lanes

Excellent communications skills

Good proficiency in spoken and written English

International mindset, energetic and proactive

Extrovert personality with strong relationship building capabilities

Ability to define requirements, analyze facts, and determine relevant solution
