MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
The position is based in Hong Kong and the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include all of the following :
Conduct research on investment profiles, key individuals, business strategies of current prospects and clients, as well as the market positioning of competitors
Conduct research issues within industry sectors, including trends, competitor intelligence & analysis
Work closely with the marketing team; help facilitate product and asset class specific marketing materials, including white papers, media article reprints, brochures, flipbooks, market studies, etc.
Translation of marketing materials and other documents from English to Chinese and vice versa
Work closely with salespeople, update prospect data in CRM system and generate reports for management and sales team
Source and analyze product performance, investment recommendations, investment team experience and other data for client requests and due diligence
Prepare initial observations and interpretations for responses to client due diligence; work closely with the investment teams, RFP, compliance and performance measurement functions to prepare initial drafts of client requests
Maintain familiarity with the current products available and report on current news and pertinent financial events that may influence investors
Events coordination - work closely with sales team, client service team and marketing team, and serve as sales liaison for key PineBridge events- luncheons, dinners, conferences, symposia, etc.
Draft prospect correspondence and mailing campaigns
Work closely with salespeople to maintain good follow up with prospects and assist with investment team to prepare notes on prospects prior to sales meetings
Provide necessary administrative functions such as database management, preparation of marketing collaterals, coordination of meetings / conference calls etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA holder preferred
Around 2 years relevant experience in sales support, institutional sales or related areas in financial insitutions
Fresh graduates with potential to grow into a salesperson will also be considered
Qualified holder of SFC License Type 1 would be ideal
Fluent spoken and written English and native Mandarin preferred; Chinese language is essential
High level of proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Strong desire to develop career in sales or financial services is essential
Must be pro-active, self-motivated, assertive and well-organized
Excellent work attitude with strong willingness to learn
Excellent presentation and client handling skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively within the firm as well as externally
Detail-oriented
Ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
