The Account Management team is a part of Meta’s Business Group, a global sales function focused on connecting every business in the world with their customers and helping them grow with Meta advertising solutions.

Meta is seeking an exceptional sales leader to build, motivate and empower a team of Account Managers that partner with high value China-export eCommerce clients to maximise returns from their marketing investments with Meta through consultations, campaign optimisation, education and support.

In addition to developing a high-performing consultative sales team that exceeds quarterly revenue and solution adoption targets, this role will collaborate with other Meta teams to define, test and scale strategic programs that grow the market and improve the Meta experience for clients.

Ideal candidates possess exceptional ability to coach / develop / motivate team members, a passion for growing business through rigorous sales planning and consultative techniques, a keen eye for process improvement and a willingness to roll up sleeves to execute tactics.

Success in this role requires the ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing environment, thinking strategically while paying attention to important details, and a passion for helping others achieve results.

  • Coach, develop and motivate a high-performing sales team to drive Meta customer metrics against territory goals with a consultative approach
  • Empower the team with relevant expertise and resources to deliver strategic advice, advertising solutions tied to client objectives and tactical policy / troubleshooting guidance
  • Establish team goals and work with team to devise strategies and tactics to execute, measure and scale results
  • drive a high level of operational rigour across sales and business operations
  • Collaborate with other Meta teams to develop and drive programs that grow the market and / or improve the Meta experience for clients
  • guide team to identify and drive opportunities with a test-and-learn mindset
  • Team development including recruiting, training, mentorship and career guidance

  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven ability to reach and exceed sales revenue goals by building trust with clients and driving customer growth through consultative sales
  • Prior success thriving in a dynamic, collaborative environment with a strong analytical and strategic planning background
  • Fluency in Mandarin and business fluency in English with effective communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Track record of inspiring, leading and developing others, directly managed or as a peer
  • Experience leading XFNs through change and driving operational excellence through data, process & systems
  • Passion for the digital ecosystem, China export economy and marketing landscape
  • 8+ years of client service or sales and marketing experience
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of the digital marketing industry and experience with direct response online and social advertising campaigns
  • Prior work experience and strong working knowledge of digital media, China export, direct response marketing and / or eCommerce
  • Proven direct sales team management experience
  • MBA degree is a plus
