The primary objective of this role is to help deliver large transactions from a modelling perspective. The role sits within the L&H Structured Solutions (LHSS) where transaction activity varies with client demand during periods of low transaction activity, your time will be spent delivering project work for the MoSes Centre of Excellence (MCOE) team.

About the Team
You will join the diverse and knowledgeable LHSS team, which is part of Products Underwriting and has several core functions :
The LHSS team is comprised of over 30 professionals, in various locations including Zurich, London, Sydney and Hong Kong.
While the majority are actuaries, a wide variety of professional backgrounds are represented.
A significant amount of your time will be assigned to the MCoE team who are responsible for creating and maintaining the MoSes actuarial models across 7 Swiss Re Life and Health Reinsurance locations.
With a current team size of 15 based across 3 locations, the MCoE's remit spans from understanding requirements from our regional stakeholders, through to the development, testing, quality assurance, maintenance and on-going support of MoSes.
Ensuring close and effective collaboration with team members and colleagues in many different areas located globally will be vital.
As such, the following will be key :
We would like to hear from you if you have the following qualifications :
Experienced actuarial modeller with 5+ years experience developing complex actuarial models would be ideal.
Experienced actuaries with a strong modelling aptitude are also encouraged to apply.
Necessary attributes :
You will need to apply the rigour needed for detailed modelling, often where no blueprints exist, in a results-based, deadline-intensive environment.
