Job Responsibilities

  • To plan, organize, implement, monitor and review the food safety system for the Hotel.
  • To implement a set of standard for the Hotel and ensure these are being followed.
  • Ensure all relevant staff are provided proper training on food hygiene and safety continuously.
  • Working closely with all relevant departments for all maintenance work, coordinating regular tests with laboratories, reviewing and maintaining high levels for all food service.
  • Maintain a smooth working relationship with other local authorities such as Food and Environmental Hygiene Department and so forth, by ensuring the Hotel implements and complies with all updated regulations and procedures.
  • To implement a preventative food safety system in order to avoid health hazards and improve food quality.
  • Prepare annual business plans and take on any duties as assigned by the Management
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or degree in Food Science and Safety or other related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ working experience in hospitability industry or related experience in food safety management.
  • Familiar with all Hong Kong statutory legislations in food hygiene and safety.
  • Established experience in setting up food safety systems in relevant industry, preferably in one which has been accredited with HACCP compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to work as part of a team.
  • Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
