Duties
The appointee will work in one of the areas described above, and is expected to conduct quality research, teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, develop curriculum, supervise students, and undertake administrative and service-related activities.
Requirements
The Department is interested in applicants with teaching and research expertise in world literatures. Applicants would ideally have experience in teaching or coordinating survey courses.
A PhD in English Literature or another relevant field. Candidates should be able to demonstrate successful university teaching experience, and have a strong research track record (relative to career stage).
Candidates for Professor / Associate Professor should have experience of postgraduate supervision and of leadership in research, teaching and curriculum development.
